Celebrating the past five years of First Nations Bedtime Stories with films from across the continent.

This year Common Ground celebrates five years of working with different First Nations creatives and community to capture and share stories as old as time and bring them to your home, classroom or workplace.

To mark this special occasion in First Nations storytelling, we are reflecting and sharing stories from each year in celebration of the vast, diverse and profound wisdom of First Nations communities across the continent.

We will hear beautiful stories from Noongar, Wiradjuri, Nyikina, Warlpiri and Luritja Nations for people of all ages and places. They will be shared online over five days from 28 October to 1 November 2024.

Each year Common Ground work with teachers to develop educational resource that accompany each series to help with understanding each story and their meaning, and strengthen knowledge of First Nations cultures, knowledge and perspectives.

This year we worked with The Yulang Effect to develop a central resource to cover each theme in celebration of five years of First Nations Bedtime Stories.
